City Host Policy

Under this policy:

​

 • The maximum term for serving as a City Host shall not exceed twelve (12) months in total. This duration may be non-consecutive but cannot cumulatively exceed 12 months over any period.

 • City Hosts who resign or leave the position before the end of their term, due to any reason, can not be reinstated again.

 • City Hosts can nominate the alumni for Notable Alumni Honours (https://www.britishalumni.org/notable-alumni).

 • City Hosts can not nominate themselves for Notable Alumni Honours during their term.

 • City Hosts, during their term, can not be awarded the Certificate of Accomplishment related to the Star Networker.

 • Networking score of the City Hosts wouldn’t be counted towards the University Networking Index™ table (https://www.britishalumni.org/index), only the participation score to be counted.
